Included are three (3) patches, saved individually as Sysex Patch Edit Buffers (.syx) files. When sent to your Prophet Rev 2, these will load into your active edit buffer on the Rev 2 for auditioning. In order to permanently save the patches to your Rev2, you just press WRITE on your synth, and select where you want to write the patch to (which bank/patch number)

DIGITAL DELIVERY OF .SYX FILES
This is a digital download with 3 patches for your Sequential Prophet Rev 2 synthesizer. When you purchase, you receive the files immediately. There are four .syx files included. Each one is a single patch, saved in Edit Buffer format, so you can audition the sound before writing it to a permanent location on your synth. I do recommend getting the latest firmware installed, but not required.
LOADING .SYX FILES TO YOUR SYNTH
To load the .SYX files to your Prophet Rev 2 synth, you can use MIDI-Ox on PC, or SYSEX LIBRARIAN on Mac. (both of these programs are free, and widely used to transfer .syx files over MIDI/USB to instruments.)
